My medical practice specializes in psychiatric services with a healthy and respectful relationship with patients.  My goal is to help patients achieve optimal mental health by psychiatric intervention.  I combine a holistic approach with expert medication management, while trying to keep patient costs to a minimum.

I am board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and by the American Board of Disability Adjudication, and I have been in practice since 1977. 
 
I am a retired Air Force Colonel with considerable experience in treating patients of all ages from 6 to 96, and I have been a consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General.
 
I have been treating patients in Northwest Georgia for over twenty years, some of them from other states as far away as Virginia and Kansas, and a few from other countries including Taiwan, Mexico, and Canada.
 
My office is handicapped accessible.

Office hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, although I may not be in the office at all times due to duties elsewhere.
 
There are one or two persons who answer the phone in my office.  However, we have a HUGE call volume.  Frequently, due to long phone calls with insurance carriers or other patients, you may receive our voicemail message because both persons are on the phone and find it difficult to disengage.  Please leave a message so that we can return your call.
